“Growing Community One Seed at a Time” happens through building long-term relationships via shared experiences in urban agriculture, youth programming, and community outreach events.
Urban Agriculture is reintegrating food production, preservation, and preparation into the lives of city dwellers. Community gardens, community orchards, beekeeping, community classes, and more bring the green back into our city and our bellies.
Youth Programming aims to connect kids with nature, with a focus on Garden Club for younger students and Food for Action for older students.
Community Outreach Events provide a way to begin and sustain long-term relationships. Examples of shared events and education include classes, meals, and other events.
