Ralph was born and raised on the south side of Des Moines, IA. He worked as a Union carpenter 13 years before becoming a Registered Nurse in 2007. He continues to work as an RN. Ralph met his wife, Rebecca at Bible College and was married in 1999. They have served as missionaries in Uganda, Mexico, inner-city Philadelphia, and now in Des Moines, IA. They have three very active children and love serving as domestic missionaries!
Rebecca grew up in Southeastern Pennsylvania riding horses and reading books. After responding to the call of Christ at age 16, her passport of life has been stamped with many experiences around the world and with many people from all walks of life. She married Ralph in December 1999 and three kids later Rebecca is glad to call urban Des Moines her home. Bookkeeping, homeschooling, traditional cooking, food preservation, horse club, and the million other things moms do, all keep her busy. She tries to keep up with her superman but seems to have misplaced her cape, or maybe the kids are playing with it.
Wayne met Ralph as he planted and pastored Heartland Christian Fellowship (now known as Calvary Chapel Des Moines). Since 2009 he has been an international missionary teaching Inductive Bible Study and serving the needs of the Body of Christ. Based in Britt, IA. Wayne and his wife, Brooke, have founded Water, Worship, and the Word specializing in pastoral training, worship ministry, women’s ministry, and sustainable technology development and education.
